There are 150 Sixth Form places available each year.

There is an academic entry requirement for A Level courses. Our typical Conditional Offer is a minimum of five 9-6 grades at GCSE and a 5 in English and maths GCSE. They also must meet specific subject entry requirements.

There is no catchment restriction.

Sixth Form Entry Requirements

Students must have at least 7 GCSEs overall, Grade 5+ in English and Maths, and at least 5 GCSEs at Grade 6+ (these can include the English and Maths grades)

Art	Grade 6+ in an Art related subject
Biology	Grade 7-6+ in Combined Science or 6+ in Biology
Chemistry	Grade 7-6+ in Combined Science or 6+ in Chemistry Grade 6+ in Maths
Computer Science	Grade 6+ in Maths Grade 7-7+ in Combined Science or 7+ in Physics
Design Technology: Product Design	Grade 6+ in Design Technology Grade 6+ in Maths
Economics	Grade 6+ in English Language or Literature Grade 6+ in Maths
English Literature	Grade 6+ in English Language or English Literature
French	Grade 6+ in French
Geography	Grade 6+ in English Language, English Literature or Geography
German	Grade 6+ in German
History	Grade 6+ English Language, English Literature or History
Maths	Grade 7+ in Maths
Further Maths	Grade 8+ in Maths
Mandarin	Grade 6+ in Mandarin or existing Mandarin language skills to be tested
