School Meals

We are excited to announce that we are trialling - with Year 5 only at first -  a new way of parents selecting their child’s school meal. We have listened to your feedback and are looking to offer more choice on a daily basis. Each day your child can choose between:

1. The school hot meal, which is served with crudités, bread, milk and an option of fruit or yoghurt for dessert or
2. Soup. Soup will now be offered on a daily basis and come with a baguette, milk and a choice of fruit or yoghurt for dessert or
3. A sandwich. A selection of sandwiches will be available on white or brown bread which your child can choose in advance, served with crudités, milk and fruit or yoghurt for dessert or
4. A packed lunch from home.

In order to ensure we have a sufficient supply of food for every child, we need you to fill in a weekly google form where you choose food for your child each day. This form will be open from Thursday – Wednesday and will then apply to the following Monday. This means, the first form will open on Thursday 13^th March and close on Wednesday 19^th March, the selection will then apply to the week beginning 24^th March. Once the form has closed, your child cannot change their mind and the form must be completed every week.

If for any reason, we do not receive a form from you, the default option will be the school hot lunch so no child will go without food. In order to maintain a healthy balanced diet, we ask that no child chooses the exact same sandwich every day and we encourage one choice each week to be fish based.
