Year 5 visit to the Sir John Soane’s Museum

Dear Parent/Carer

In conjunction with our Unit of Inquiry, ‘Man made structures have played an important part in human expression throughout history’, this term, Year 5 will be visiting the Sir John Soane’s museum on Thursday 5 October.

Our visit will involve a workshop finding out about how light supports architecture, as well as visiting the other areas of the museum.
We shall be leaving school at around 9:15am and will be back by 1:00 pm. The children will require a packed lunch. We will be travelling to the museum by bus.

No monetary contribution is required as the museum session is free and transport is provided by TFL.

Please complete the permission slip below and return to Donna in the primary office.

Yours faithfully
