Year 4 visit to The Horniman Museum

17 October 2017

Dear Parent/Carer

In conjunction with our Unit of Inquiry, ‘Humans express themselves through art and music’, this term, Year 4 will be visiting the Horniman Museum on Monday 6 November.

Our visit will involve a workshop looking at music and musical instruments as well as visiting the other areas of the museum.

We shall be leaving the Academy at around 9:30am and will be back by 3.15 pm. The children will require a packed lunch. We will be travelling to the museum by the Overground.

Although TFL supply the transport for free, a £3.50 contribution is required to cover the cost of the guided museum session. Payments to be made on ParentPay.

If you would be available to accompany us on the trip please indicate this on the permission slip below.

Yours faithfully
