Year 3 Museum of London visit

6 June 2017

Dear Parent/Carer

As part of our Unit of Inquiry exploring how ‘People move around the globe and settle in different places’ we will be visiting The Museum of London, 150 London Wall, London on Wednesday 21 June.

During our visit to the museum the children will learn how London has developed into the city we know today. They will see how the Romans in particular have influenced our city.

Please ensure your child comes to school on this day with a packed lunch, preferably in a disposable or small re-usable bag. (Remember no glass bottles, cans, fizzy drinks, crisps, sweets, chocolate bars or nut products, please).

We will be taking the bus to the museum and plan to leave the Academy at approximately 11am and we will arrive back at the Academy by the end of the school day.

Your child will need to wear Academy uniform and please ensure that they have suitable clothes for the weather on the day (waterproof if it is wet).

Please return the permission slip below and indicate if you are available to come along and help on the trip.

Yours faithfully

Miss P Grindrod
