Reception class visit to London Transport Museum

20 March 2018

Dear Parent/Carer

London Transport Museum Visit: Wednesday 18 April 2018

Reception class will be visiting the London Transport Museum to participate in a Platform Promenade session, where they will enter a time travelling machine and embark on an investigative journey through the Museum to discover the differences between types of vehicles and how people travelled in the past. This links to our Unit of Enquiry where we have been discussing a lot about different vehicles and the children have expressed a lot of interest in transport.

We will leave the Academy promptly in the morning and walk to Caledonian Road Station and travel by Underground to Covent Garden, changing at Kings Cross. Our return journey should bring us back to school by 3:15pm. Please ensure your child has warm clothes and sensible walking shoes as well as a packed lunch to enjoy.

Please complete the permission slip below and make a payment of £3.50 on ParentPay. We are also looking for several parent helpers to accompany us on the trip.

Yours faithfully
