Dear Parents and Carers
Internet safety
On Monday of this week Miss Williamson, the Primary ICT subject leader, spoke to all of the children in Y3, Y4, Y5 and Y6 about internet safety during a special assembly. Included in her talk was the warning never to give out personal information to online friends. This page gives further details. Keeping children safe is of paramount importance to us and is part of our work in school to ensure that ‘Every Child Matters’. As well as internet safety, we also work to help the children to understand about water, fire, road and railway safety.
Breakfast Club
A reminder that Breakfast Club runs every morning from 8am in the Primary Hall. There is a charge of 50p per day which should be paid on each day of attendance alternatively a payment of £2.50 can be paid at the beginning of each week.
Cookery After-School Club
Cookery After-School Club has now finished for the term for the younger children. Next half-term will be the turn of the older children who have all received confirmation of their places. All other clubs will continue as normal after half-term.
Easter Holiday Club
The Martin Luther King Centre is hoping to run an Easter holiday club during the first week of the Easter holiday: Monday 29 March to Thursday 1 April. However, this is dependent on having sufficient numbers to make the club feasible. If you are interested in a place for your child, please contact MLK directly on 020 7607 0845 or .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address).
Quote of the week
Our quote for this week come from the Bible and is our school motto: “Show by a good life that your works are done by gentleness born of wisdom” (James 3:13)
I hope you all have a very safe and happy half-term holiday with your children.
Children should return to school on Monday 22 February.
Yours sincerely
Joy Parke
