Family Learning: 20 February to 26 March 2012

A parenting course is taking place at St Mary Magdalene Church from 20 February to 26 March. The course, while based on Christian principles, is relevant and helpful for any parent with or without a Christian faith or church background and is for parents with children up to the age of 10. The topics that will be covered include…

> Building strong foundations
> Love in action
> Setting boundaries
> Building character in our children
> Our long term aim as parents

The course begins on Monday 20 February, and meets every week until 26 March, with one break on 12 March (no session that week) – five sessions in all. It starts at 7.00 and ends at 9.30pm (prompt!). Each evening begins with supper followed by a talk, with opportunities for discussion in small groups.

Please note that childcare is not provided.

The course is free, though people are invited to make a contribution towards the cost of the meal.
