On Wednesday 24 February, the Primary Department hosted a visit from a special guest. The visitor was Spanish footballer Manuel Almunia.

Almunia, who is the Arsenal goalkeeper, joined Miss House and Mr Standing in a Spanish Club session with a group of Key Stage 2 pupils. Not only did they get the chance to practise their Spanish language skills with Almunia by interviewing the football star, but they also got to work on their ball skills too! Almunia led some football drills – in Spanish! – for the children to show off their nifty footwork. And yes, everyone got an autograph!
