Yesterday we visited Johnny Green’s Pop-Up Studio as part of our Visual Arts IB.

It was a great experience, as it inspired me to think differently about the way I compose photos. We were shown how to use a professional camera and focused on how dramatically lighting can affect the outcome. I now intend to complete a series of images looking specifically at the different functions of an SLR camera.

It was a really rewarding trip for me and as a result I am planning to “focus” my art journey with a photography emphasis.
