Anne Frank exhibition
In order to commemorate the 65th anniversary of the liberation of the Auschwitz-Birkenau concentration camp, St Mary Magdalene Academy has organised an exhibition, in partnership with the Anne Frank Trust, about the life of Anne Frank.
Students across the Academy have been provided with the opportunity to visit the exhibition to develop their knowledge and understanding about what life was like for the Jewish community in Germany and throughout Europe during the Second World War. The exhibition provides students with an insight into the horrific consequences of intolerance and racial hatred through the experiences of Anne Frank.
The exhibition will be open to parents and guardians on Wednesday 20 January between 3.00 and 5.30pm – please take the opportunity to visit. Students will be available to guide you around the exhibition.
