Our hall was buzzing with excitement last Thursday afternoon, as Year 11 students were given the results of their mock GCSEs. After a brief introduction from Mr Reardon, Curriculum Director, each student was given a sealed white envelope…
And moments later – envelopes torn open – the nail-biting tension had given way to scenes of great relief and even euphoria!
The Mock Results Assembly has a serious purpose. It’s a reminder to keep up the hard work at this crucial stage. It’s an opportunity to reflect on how they can improve. And it’s a chance for each student to really think what they’re aiming for, when they open that envelope for real this summer.
