Record-breaking Sixth Form results!

14 July 2017

Our first Sixth Form results are in. And they’re outstanding.

This year’s IB results are the best in our Academy’s history. Overall, our students achieved a terrific average point score of 36.

Nine students – a quarter of the year group – achieved a score of 40 or more. And three students – Nathan, Sam and Tai – achieved an outstanding score of 43. (As a benchmark, the worldwide average IB score is 30 points from a possible 45.)

Our hardworking Sixth Formers have already won places at many prestigious universities including Oxford, Cambridge, Imperial London, Bristol, Edinburgh, Leeds, Manchester, SOAS and UCL.

Two students have won scholarships – to the University of British Columbia, and the French University of Sciences Po. The subjects they’ll be studying include medicine, geophysics, history and engineering.

We are all very proud of our students’ achievements and wish them the warmest congratulations. And with A Level and GCSE results to come next month, we’re looking forward to a great summer of celebrations!
